US 101 Mid-County Multimodal Corridor Strategy: Draft Existing Conditions Report
The San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) is developing the 101 Corridor Connect Mid County Multimodal Strategy which will identify underfunded but necessary projects that improve and encourage the use of different types of transportation. The Mid County includes the cities of Burlingame, San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos, and Redwood Shores (Redwood City). The project includes a one-mile study area along both sides of the corridor to identify projects that can be considered for inclusion in the funding strategy.
Below, you can view the Draft Existing Conditions Report and provide input. The report is a summary and assessment of existing conditions from the perspectives of the transportation networks, the population and socioeconomic characteristics and the travel patterns of the residents and workers in the Mid County corridor.
